The origins of Kastle are special, with Anton Kästle building his first pair of skis in 1924, in his wainwright workshop in Hohenems, Austria. Over the next decades, countless skiing legends would represent Kästle, in total winning 132 Olympic and World Cup medals. In 1998, Kästle disappeared from the market, abruptly and surprisingly. Kästle returned to the international ski community in 2007, thanks to an investment group with Rudolf Knünz, once again creating skis that would set the benchmarks for the whole industry: bringing construction technologies from racing and applying them to all-mountain skis, in addition to the development of the revolutionary Hollowtech. By removing unneeded layers in the front of the ski this results in several advantages. The ski becomes lighter, feels more stable, edge-grip is more powerful, steering is more precise and the overall weight is reduced. In 2015, Kästle returned to its roots in Hohenems, Austria.

Kästle, which was founded in 1924, has been going through reorganisation since 2007. The company currently employs 46 people and its annual turnover reaches 6.5 million euros. This year, Kastle is expected to produce around 17,000 pairs of skis, which are mainly destined for the Austrian and US markets.
\"We will now expand the existing Kästle product portfolio with segments of cross-country, ski jumping, acrobatic, ski and roller skis. At the same time, we have ambitions for top-class skiing,\" the company said.
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden has apparently decided to abandon plans of attacking the dreaded fiscal cliff, and has instead opted to drop smaller-sized cliffs at Aspen/Snowmass. Biden was spotted yesterday cruising with his family, rocking Kastle skis.
The products in the market are manifold. The variety of products is so high that it may be confusing to choose the right one for you. This is why we have created this guide for you to help you pick the right kastle skis easily.
Kästle is now a full-fledged major player in increasing volume and in terms of prestige and quality. Renamed the RX 12 in 2011, the RX remains one of our favorite frontside GS-like skis. Superb carver and easy to handle for a ripper.
These scores were at first suspect, but as we went through the cards, they were confirmed to be the majority opinion. We can't recall many skis that received perfect fives across the board, but this is close.
New big backside entry for a company mostly known, thus far, for it's technical and tactical skis broadens the Kästle new school possibilities. Faky OK, rockered tip makes for a fairly quick, stable backside platform.
Kästle uses uncompromisingly high-quality UHM SINTERED GRAPHITE bases, like those used in ski racing, for all its adult skis. This creates a durable, long-lasting base with excellent glide performance and wax absorption. Our children and junior skis feature though, easy-care extruded bases.
We build our skis with classic camber and distinguish between Standard Camber and Low Camber: With STANDARD CAMBER, the ski center is clearly elevated and the contact points to the snow are far forward and back. The effective edge is longer and the ski initiates turns more quickly and precisely.
They combine 9 decades of experience with proven technologies that enable their customers to challenge and exceed personal limits. So far 132 Olympic and World Cup medals have been won by skiing legends whilst wearing Kästle skis. 59ce067264
