Windows XP Support: Microsoft ended support for Windows XP on April 8, 2014. Current versions of the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015-2022 only support Windows Vista, 7, 8.1, 10, and 11. The last version of the Visual C++ Redistributable that works on Windows XP shipped in Visual Studio 2019 version 16.7 (file versions starting with 14.27). The Redistributable is available in the my.visualstudio.com Downloads section as Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 (version 16.7). Use the Search box to find this version. To download the files, select the platform and language you need, and then choose the Download button.

For a standard solution, it may not have a significant impact. But, when we are building some very large-scale enterprise solutions, running the visual studio for a long, using a different emulator for test and debug. In that case, this gives a much more high-performance, reliable, and scale workspace for the developer without slowing down the development IDE.
Windows app samples are now available through GitHub. You can browse the code on GitHub, clone a personal copy of the repository from Git, or download a zipped archive of all the samples. We welcome feedback, so feel free to open an issue within the repository if you have a problem or question. These samples are designed to run on desktop, mobile, and future devices that support the Universal Windows Platform (UWP).
Visual Studio 2012 updates are cumulative releases that include new features and fixes that were delivered in previous Visual Studio 2012 Updates. The following download link always points you to the latest update:
Squiggles are wavy underlines that alert you to errors or potential problems in your code as you type. These visual clues help you fix problems immediately, without waiting to discover errors during build or runtime. If you hover over a squiggle, you see more information about the error. A lightbulb might also appear in the left margin showing Quick Actions you can take to fix the error.
The download includes the VC_Redist runtime packages for Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2022. Both 32-bit and 64-bit are supported. The files included are the English language version.
Aside from that, Visual Studio comes with a huge list of news, including new versions of C++, .NET 6, and C#10. There are also improvements to the editor such as a new multi-caret copy-and-pasting experience, new IntelliCode features such as whole line completions in C# projects, and much, much more. One thing that's worth noting is that the extensions platform in Visual Studio 2022 has some breaking changes, so existing extensions for VS2019 won't work with the new version unless they're updated. On the visual side, Microsoft has changed the icons across the app and a new Cascadia Code font is now used in the app. You can read the release notes for a more thorough description of everything that's new.
Visual Studio has long been available in a 64-bit edition able to create 64-bit applications on 64-bit computers, but it remained a 32-bit application itself. This caused confusion among some developers who downloaded the 64-bit version only to find it was installed as an x86 app. In reply to that issue posted on the Developer Community site in 2019, Microsoft responded: "Visual Studio remains a 32-bit application, though certain components (e.g., diagnostics/debuggers, MSBuild, compilers, designers) will take advantage of 64-bit processors if available. We've updated our download pages to clarify this." Now, long into the 64-bit computing era, that has finally changed.
Starting from Visual Studio 2010, the Crystal Reports are no longer installed with Visual Studio. Crystal Reports for Visual Studio must be downloaded and installed separately from the SAP Crystal Reports website. The Sap Crystal Reports is free to use and download.
You can download the latest edition of crystal reports from the official site. Just click on the following link. The latest version available is SP31 and it runs on all editions of visual studio starting from Visual Studio 2015 up to 2019.
If you are arriving here for the first time, then register with them. The Registration is free and allows you to access a few free pieces of stuff along with the software. The free stuff includes manuals, software downloads & access to Community.
Non of the download links above are valid for the legacy products from SAP any longer. The SAP webpages and links from the Wiki are a disgrace and mostly broken for older products. Desperately need SP21 for VS2017 (CR 13.0.3500) and cannot find a download anywhere.
Whenever I try to install Visual Studio Code (basic or insiders edition), I download the setup file called something like VSCodeSetup. This seems to install the 32 bit version. When I download the zip file, I also end up with the a 32 bit version. I've tried downloading it with both Edge and Chrome, which are both 64 bit. There appears to be 64 bit versions for Linux, so I'm assuming there are 64 bit versions for Windows as well?
As updates become available for Visual Studio 2019, you can run the --layout command again, pointing to the same layout folder, to ensure that the folder contains the latest components. Only those components that have been updated since the last time --layout was run will be downloaded.
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 for 64-bit Windows installed. You can download the installation package at Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 on the Microsoft website.
Use the following procedure to download and install the Amazon Redshift ODBC driver for Windows operating systems. Only use a different driver if you're running a third-party application that is certified for use with Amazon Redshift, and that application requires that specific driver.
32-bit ODBC drivers are discontinued. Further updates will not be released, except for urgent security patches. To download and install ODBC drivers for 32-bit operating systems, see Install and configure the Amazon Redshift ODBC driver on Microsoft Windows.
After you download and install the ODBC driver, add a data source name (DSN) entry to the client computer or Amazon EC2 instance. SQL client tools can use this data source to connect to the Amazon Redshift database.
In order to setup VisualSVN, you need to download and install the latest stable version of TortoiseSVN Subversion client. The current version of VisualSVN is compatible with 1.8.x, 1.9.x, 1.10.x, 1.11.x, 1.12.x, 1.13.x and 1.14.x versions of TortoiseSVN (excluding nightly TortoiseSVN builds numbered as 1.14.99.x).
The purpose of this document is to provide a quick look-up of all Support Packs, Fixed Issues and Distribution File downloads available for SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio.
UPDATE: As of June 13th, 2017 we are now redirecting the downloads to a new page. This page will prompt for a log in and allow you to get notifications regarding updates. It only requires your e-mail address.
