This was again exemplified by Abdulhakeem Abdullkareem, a graduate of the University, who emerged winner of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) nationwide essay contest that held in the federal capital territory, Abuja. By the success of Abdulkareem at the just concluded nationwide essay contest, UNILORIN undoubtedly added another medal to its gallery.
Abdulhakeem, who is currently undergoing the one year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exercise in the Northern region, clinched the first runner up prize at the keenly contested essay competition.
Sixteen teams consisting of six cadets each compete for the USAF Chief of Staff Outstanding Team Championship Trophy. Each team was selected from the very best during previous state- and regional-level competitions. These extraordinary young people train for months and sometimes years to demonstrate their excellence in a wide range of activities in the arenas of leadership, aerospace, fitness and character. During the 3-day competition, cadets compete in physical challenges, test their knowledge of aviation and leadership, demonstrate the highest levels of precision and teamwork in posting the colors, and above all, cheer each other on in the spirit of teamwork.
The Commission is responsible for creating an enabling environment for competition among operators in the industry as well as ensuring the provision of qualitative and efficient telecommunications services throughout the country.

NCC Air Wing Cadet Shashwat Dev Rai of Dyal Singh Public School, Sec-7, Karnal won First prize in Yoga Competition which was held on the occasion of International Yoga Day (21/6/2021). Group commander honoured him with a trophy, certificate and yoga mate. 12 schools and 4 colleges had participated in the above competition.
No. 2 (Har) Air Sqn. NCC, KARNAL organized ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP(ATC-2017) at Geeta Institute of Management and Technology, Kanipla, Kurukshetra From 22nd August to 31st August 2015. A total of 15 NCC Air Wing Cadets of our school along with ANO Anand Kumar Mishra attended the camp. Our NCC Air Wing Cadets displayed their spark in various competitions in the said camp. The budding talent of our cadets was appreciated by the group captain Pradeep Bishnoi(Camp Commandant).
No. 2(Har) Air Sqn. NCC Karnal organized COMBINED ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP (CATC-2016) at Geeta Institute of Management and Technology, Kanipla, Kurukshetra From 22nd to 31st August,2016. A total of 17 NCC Air Wing Cadets of our school along with ANO Anand Kumar Mishra attended the camp. Our NCC Air Wing Cadets displayed their spark in various competitions and cultural programs in the above said camp. The budding talent of our cadets was appreciated by the Group Captain Pardeep Bishnoi(Camp Commandant). Our NCC Cadets participated in different activities and brought laurel to the school.

The Nigerian Communications Commission has finally released the results of the 2014 NCC National Essay Competition. Application for the essay competition on the topic; BROADBAND: A CATALYST FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, commenced December 2014 and closed January 2015.
On 9th September,2022. MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session for the NCC students at Jalahalli East Bengaluru. Mrs. Ranjini Shankar and Mr. Marulappa reiterated the importance of awareness as a key factor to increase organ donation rates in the city and hence in an attempt to spread awareness she requested the faculty of Airforce Management for an essay writing and drawing competition with the theme of organ donation to spread the message. The faculty was extremely supportive and hence agreed for the same on 10th September 2022
The NCC students enthusiastically participated in the essay writing competition and wrote several heart touching stories on the cause. The drawing competition was also well received and several students portrayed their talent through innovative drawings.
At Niagara Christian Collegiate the visual arts and music programs play an integral role on campus. The visual arts program focuses on the refinement of students artistic skills and knowledge in the visual arts. At NCC we try to encourage students to work through the creative process while exploring different media and giving students several creative opportunities. We have our own arts council which has been involved in several competitions, juried art shows, and National Youth Arts Week.The music program focuses on developing well-rounded musicians who can sight-read, improvise and compose. The program offers instruction in winds, brass, percussion, piano and vocal. Annually, we present two showcase concerts and compete in local competitions.
